The Racial Equity Team of the East Central Synod of Wisconsin is committed to fostering communities where all people are seen, valued, and treated with dignity. Rooted in faith and guided by the call to love our neighbors, the team works to equip congregations and leaders with the tools, understanding, and courage needed to confront racism and build more inclusive communities. Through education, conversation, and shared learning, we seek to deepen awareness of both the historical and present realities of racial injustice.

We believe that meaningful change begins with honest reflection and grows through collective action. The Racial Equity Team supports individuals and congregations in taking faithful steps toward justice—creating spaces for dialogue, offering practical resources, and encouraging ongoing engagement in equity work.
